OUR HISTORY
The idea for APX RAPID PROTOTYPES & MANUFACTURING was born out of a clear market gap. In early 2024, founders Matthew Martin and Lorenzo Trevino recognized that while companies across aerospace, engineering, and technology were pushing innovation, they often struggled to bring their designs from concept to production in a timely and efficient manner. Large firms were outsourcing these critical steps, leaving smaller businesses and startups without the support they needed to scale at speed.
Matt and Lorenzo saw the opportunity. With backgrounds in engineering, leadership, and hands-on problem solving, they set out to build a company that could bridge the gap—providing RAPID PROTOTYPING and full-scale manufacturing services under one roof.
By mid-2025, APX RAPID had transformed from a vision into a fully operational, highly innovative company. What began as an idea is now a cutting-edge facility delivering precision-controlled, contamination-conscious manufacturing environments, ESD-Safe components, and end-to-end solutions that help businesses turn bold ideas into real-world results.
